FORT WHYTE ALIVE – TOUCH GALLERY
A beautiful renewal for one of Winnipeg’s most loved gallery spaces. FortWhyte Alive is a large environmental education and nature centre located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. As exhibit designer, I helped guide the refurbishment of FortWhyte Alive's Richardson Interpretive Centre with new flooring, lighting, life-sized murals and engaging interpretive signage defining each biome area. Exhibits and interpretive signage are an essential part of fulfilling FortWhyte Alive’s mandate to provide accessible education. This gallery is unique – unlike most museums where artefacts are displayed in protective cases, here, visitors are encouraged to touch the animals. 2025 [This project was produced in partnership with HTFC Planning and Design.
