Kingston Crescent Association

Art direction and graphic design services were provided to produce a set of four interpretive signs describing the history of the St. Vital neighbourhood in Winnipeg, which was established by Francophone settlers in 1822. The project was led by the Kingston Crescent Association in partnership with the City of Winnipeg. Two of the panels outline the power of the 1950 flood; the other panels tell the story of Elm Park and showcase the work of First Nation artist Jackie Traverse. Beautiful beadwork, by Ojibwe artist Trip Charbs, adorns the panels. Obtaining print and fabrication costs as well as overseeing and managing on-time delivery and installation of the signs was included. 2023
