Shakin’ All Over: The Manitoba Music Experience

Gallery content for this exhibit featured nine genres of music. For each genre, a 42-foot-long, 8-foot-high fabric surround was created featuring historic photographs of Manitoba's musicians. Suspended banners and interpretive panels were also designed. Obtaining print and fabrication costs and overseeing the production and printing of the materials was included. The temporary exhibit was showcased at the Manitoba Museum. 2010  [Exhibit Design, HTFC Planning and Design; Photography, Allan Beech]

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Anikó on this highly successful exhibit, mounted by The Manitoba Music Experience Committee. Anikó was hired to prepare the vast array of graphic visual material and handled her task, daunting as it was, with utmost professionalism. Her work was the key to making the exhibit so appealing. Anikó’s responsibilities were handled thoroughly, on time and she was both creative and cooperative in working with our group. She attended our meetings, provided input, and endeavoured to make all our goals and objectives a reality. Indeed, it was a wonderful experience having Anikó as part of our creative team and I would not hesitate to work with her again.
